Analyzing the 2009 CFL Draft: Toronto Argonauts

Okay I did the BC Lions last time and now it's the Toronto Argonauts turn.
Picks:
Round 1, Pick 2: Etienne Legare, DE
Round 2, Pick 10: Matt Lambros, WR
Round 3, Pick 18: James Green, LB
Round 4, Pick 26: Zachary Pollari, OT
Round 5, Pick 34: Gordon Sawler, G
Round 6, Pick 42: Anthony Deslauriers, DB
Round 6, Pick 43: Brad Crawford, DB

Best Value Pick: WR Matt Lambros
I was hoping Hamilton would trade down a bit and take him instead of Darcy Brown but he fell right into the laps of the Argonauts. Lambros is nothing flashy but was a gamebreaker for the Liberty Flames and should bring that game to the CFL.

Best Sleeper Pick: DB Brad Crawford
He's the younger brother of fellow Argo Bryan Crawford and this Crawford brings amazing versatility. Having played at RB, DB, LB, S and defensive specialist while with the Guelph Gryphons he has what Toronto needs.

Worst Value Pick: All of their Late Picks Except for Crawford
Except for Brad Crawford I really don't like the Pollari, Sawler or DesLauriers picks. All they bring is depth at already stacked spots and will more than likely just be training camp foder.

Grade: B-
